Went for my first 1000km servicing yesterday night at Tan Chong Toa
Payoh. Despite all the complaints I heard about them here in this
forum, I was very pleased with the service there.
Reached there at 7.05pm, immediately drove my car into the
workshop, no waiting time. A Mr Tham was there to welcome me. After
taking over the car from me, he informed me to come back at around
8.30pm. Checked with him what were the things that they would be
doing for the 1st servicing, and he showed me a checklist and
ticked off all the things they would be checking and changing. Was
abit worried that the technicians would dirty my new seats with
their dirty overalls, but was glad to see that they put on a
plastic seat cover before they drive the car in.
Decided to stick around a bit to see how they do the servicing.
Also called the SE that I bought from to come down for a chat.
After chatting for only half an hour, was surprised when the lady
called me to tell me my car was already done! Not only had they
finished the servicing, they had also vacuumed the interior and
washed the exterior as well! Wow, total time spent there was only
about 40mins...fast and efficient!
