They (aka glass) are NOT crystallic and has no properties of crystal. It's true that in ancient periods, glass was highly regarded and only the rich can afford glass. But now, we're in the MODERN ERA. Glass is basically worthless. It's as worthless as jade. Try selling jade in pawnshops and you'll be rejected straight away. Liu Li is overpriced glass, which prices range from $100+ for a small piece to thousands for a large statue. IMO, it doesn't deserve this price tag, yet I still see idiots (adults!! not sch kids leh) paying large sums of money for glass... And, I thot adults should have common sense. Well, not all I suppose?

Same as ancient dzi beads, they have some monetary and resale value due to the fact that they're antiques. Modern glass is WORTHLESS. Kawazoe SG glass is worth crap but the design workmanship no need skill ah? maybe thats why its priced so high? why pay thousands for a painting, its jus paper and paint.

fugue in C minor SG The difference is, when it's hundreds/thousands years of age (aka antique), it's a totally different story. Antique glass beads are highly collectible and has high resale value too. It's the modern glass that's worth crap.
