Hi Guys,well read that in every countries' military there is
bound to be a Combat Survival Course or the US call it
Survial,Evansion,Resistance and Escape course conducted primarily
for their SpecOps ,Recce troops etc...Well,under Geneva
Convention,all the captors can ask from the POWS is his
Name,D.O.B,Unit and Rank if I'm not wrong.But as usual,it is never
convenient to follow the Geneva Convention.So the implementation of
such a course.
I have not gone through such a course before.But I have read books
and done research on such topics.It appears that the captors are
using ways and means to break your mental will,and make you divulge
vital military intel.And during the course,instructors will push
the trainess to the limits.So,I myself feel that I am capable of
overcoming and not tell them anything.As I am a believer that the
Mind is stronger then the abuse given physically.And thus,they will
use the good cop,bad cop technique.And that it is important that
the captors realise that they are not going to win.So adopting a
"You can have my body,but never my soul" kind of approach.
Anyone has ever gone through CSC?Please shed some light.As this is
really a very interesting topic.
