dragon_stone SG Remember a few months back, the PTC said no increases until Sept as they are drafting some guidelines??? Now it is barely into the first week of July and they started the increase. And some crap from gahmen about deregulated increases(see today paper), then what is PTC for?
vito_corleone SG if singapore wants to be "first world" like the west, the standard of living has to be "first world" also. that means no more bus fares with a max of around SGD2. our transportation costs are considered very cheap when compared to other "first world" countries.

ölala SG the gvot are juz playing mind games la during election,they promised to hear the ppl's woe and now...prices of transportation are hiked again they dare talked abt world class svc has to come with world class prices? are they so sure that their transportation provide really good svc's? veery a time,i go up the bus and see a frowny face of a driver...tell me that munich and london have magnetic trains and good svcs... they can justify their cause...the taxes from the ppl are used to provide social welfare for poor ppl in the uk... in sg?there are still so many poor ppl without welfare aid!

macjoe SG Wah piang! Cab fare profit margin is so good. I wonder if I can "attach" a TAXI top signage (with sponsored ads on top, side body, front and backside) on my private car and earn some spare cash to offset the rising petrol costs? I've got a driver's license, clean traffic record and I own a bloody expensive cheap car. I might as well make use of them to make some decent side income. Taxicab companies charge this and that. I charge lower. With competition like me around, I'm sure they'll not anyhow raise cab fares. Who's with me?!!!!
newmanmback SG i like your description of "an expensive cheap car". no lah since u got car can let ppl travelling along the same routte with u everyday to and after work to ride in it on the cagreed condition that they pay a daily/ weekly/ moonthly fee..so u get some extras to pay for your gas..not bad orso ride? with a car u can do some light delivery war also hehe
