ferret69 SG Another web forum but with a few more international posters including M'sians. Has some very interesting discussions. Play nice, gentlemen. http://www.network54.com/Forum/242808
tripwire SG yup... poor malaysian there kenna trashed left, right, centre, up, down, in and out... in short... kenna mass raped.. but... sometimes... once in a while... you get to learn something too... like... prior to reading one of the thread... i didnt even know that the ASTER15 on the DELTA got 2 version.. the SAAM (for anti missile) and PAAMS.. (for air defence). i always thought that the 3 CIWS found on the delta is supposed to be AMM capable.. and the aster was supposed to be for AD only. but now... it seems that the 3*8 missile on the CIWS(a combination of missile and gun).. may actually be for AD... if the SAAM is meant for AMM... or maybe assist the aster on AD... or when aster is busy with AMM role. lastly... i read somewhere that the RSN is actually funding a R&D on supersonic LR AShM that would (if successful) be installed on the delta in place of the harpoon...
ferret69 SG I do hate it when that happens since I prefer a more measured discourse amongst fellow forummers. Personal, national or racial bashing screws efforts at people trying to get balanced/neutral info. I don't feel too at ease that a Singaporean is a moderator there, no matter how neutral he/she really is. At least the community over there is more or less alright, especially like the fact when the Singaporean moderator gave a message of congrats to a M'sian guy's marriage. As for the mass rape comment, I'll let it pass. I hate that kind of talk since a friend of mine was sexually abused when young.
gary1910 SG There is also a mod from MY and have frequent this forum too, but whether he has use a different nick to post or just a "observer". So Lipan are you reading this? Therefore things is more or less balance over there. There are quite a number of Singaporeans as well as Malaysians over there, some of them got "raped" over there is becos of their nationalistic but naive points that they have presented which does not hold any water.
tripwire SG yup.... kinda like... if you make silly points... you can expect to be kenna bonk... some of malaysian thread was bonk not by singaporeans you know... but in the end... during the exchange... you get to learn something of interest which you would otherwise not come across... a treasure trove for information if you knew just where to dig... but like all information... take it with a pinch of salt...
