New Camry!!!

Hi all, i’ve managed to clock 10.1km/l on my Toyota Camry (Thai model) the current selling one… Its abt 9mths old le… When i told the salesman and the mechanic during my servicing, they were shocked… they said the avrg is ard 8-9 km/l… They haven heard of any clocking above 10… The highest i got was 10.4km/l…. Anybody care to share abt their experiences… Wad abt the Japanese model… Ciaoz, God bless!

mine is 9km/L 2000 model.. made in japan.. toyota camry 2.2 5 speed auto

Thai model is less fuel consumption, as the car is higher making it lighter

How can it be? My new picnic I got it 1 month ago clock 9-10km/L while driving in singapore, I also clock 12.5km/L when i was in malaysia, the best FC is 14km/L for highway drive.

I think he use Vegetable oil la......must be.....KNIFE brand one.....give good mileage..... Cool

I thought Camry is one of the best FC car?? Expecting 11-12km/L so it is about the same as a BMW 520 2.2L Why most ppl tell me BMW FC no good??

Are you sure about that mate ? Thats kinda high for a VVTI engine ! My Saab 95's FC on avg is around 12.1 ?

Yeah.. thats wad the Borneo guys told me.. they said most ppl getting ard 8-9 km/l.. i got 1 fren get only 6km/l... cuz he's a rammer... 0.o

Hearing this make me feel better, I ram my e39 2.2 still can get 7-8km/L, on NS highway can even reach 11km/L or 9L/100km (speed around 130km/h) maybe higher if maintain 110km/h. Very Happy

Oh thanks for reminding me to use vege oil, I just clock 10.3km/L today for my picnic. I travel from JB - Woodlands - SLE - AMK Ave 5 - AMK Ind Pk 2 - AMK Ave 3 - HG Ave 3 - Eunos Link - Ubi Rd 1 - Upp Paya Lb Rd - PIE - AYE - Kian Teck Way - PIE - CTE - AMK Ind Pk 2 - SLE - JB Embarassed . My Jul 03 Camry fuel consumption is abt 10 to 11 Km/Litre. Do you ever encounter other problems for your camry? So far I have replaced one side mirror motor, power door motor, quarter mirror and power seat motor. What color is your ride?

Mine is metallic grey... so far not much problems... except i feel that the brakes are abit too soft for me... on the whole, the car is fine.. good for out-running those ah bengs in their WRX and Evos.. haha... =P

hi, can anyone help me on this?? I juz got a toyota camry latest model (THAI make). Whenever i lock or unlock my door, the alarm is a loud horn. How can I deactivate that??? I just want the silent mode.
