does the service 72 goes around there to Tamp interchange (CPF
/MRT ect)? I think only this bus goes on that road.
I have taken the route many times b4 since 1999 and i dont find
anything eerie about it.
In case u dont know, the roads linking to tampinese HDB areas to
hougang has been around since 1993 and very ulu that time , mostly
like huge plots of land or fields.. think only few buses go there
and there was no 72 Bus then. I remember buses leading to tampinese
new towns from hougang or AmK go one stupid round and takes 1 hr
plus journey.
In 1998 service bus no 72 was started linking tampinese interchange
to NYP and u can go to tampinese in a short period of time
bypassing the paya lebar air base(?). Now the bus is popular many
working people/students people take it to go to hougang, amk,
tampinese to and from. If not for this bus, u have to go one fuking
long journey on MRT or from AMK
