Malaysia's Light Strike Vehicle

Broken Arrow SG

Check out the latest edition of the Asian Defence & Diplomancy ("AD&D") !!! Malaysia DEFTECH (equivalent of ST Engineering) have show cased a Malaysian Version of the LSV very smiliar to Singapore's..... Probably bought from the same source ("Australian").....

The LSV in the picture is mounted with only a GPMG.... There could be other configurations..Anti-Tank, Anti-Aircraft etc....

Broken Arrow SG

I guess the LSVs must be for their rapid deployment forces...possibly their ranger regiments.....

I wonder what's the number of LSV they have got ?

RAVEN101 SG

they bought from UAE after we sell them Laughing

foga SG

found these pieces of infor off the cyberspace.
it could be the exact Flyer LSV that we are using. but they term it as Flyer Special Ops Vehicle atau the Flyer Special Reconnaissance Vehicle atau Flyer ITV-I tactical ground vehicle. Shocked

they carry an interesting range of vehicles...

Among the vehicles that will be displayed during DSA 2004 include new products such as the Duro 6X6 Mortar Carrier, Duro 4X4 Igla Carrier, HICOM Handalan Command Vehicle and HICOM Handalan DROPs vehicle. In addition to these, DEFTECH will also exhibit the Mercedes Benz Artego 4X4 and Unimog, Adnan APC, HICOM-Iveco Tank Transporters, Duro 6X6 High Mobility Troop Transporter (HMTT) and the Flyer Special Operations Vehicle.

wonder if the maf is gonna buy all that...

Broken Arrow SG

From the pictures on print, it is definitely a "FLYER". They have probably gotten got these from the Australian just like we did...

It seems like they really trying very hard to mimic what ST Engineering is doing. Getting foreign technologies transfer and "self-improvise".....

Broken Arrow SG

Apparently, this is the version they have got...

See the following link : http://www.marvingroup.com/flyer/index.htm

According to Armada, ST Engr is the sole manufacturer... The information may be misleading.
