I'm a Rocketman....Rocketman

That old Elton John song just keeps playing in my mind ever since I saw this photo! Laughing

only one thing to say to the guy who would fire that thing : pain , head pain…....

Joe Black SG

Man, I can't stop laughing when I see this pic. I really have to give it to the Iraqi who came up with this design. Just imagine firing this thing over one's head. Multiple rockets too. What about back blast, targeting sight, the recoil, etc?

Indeed, the person who design this AND fire this weapon can be considered a Rocketman!!!! Very Happy

NathanG5 SG

lolz..i wonder if it is accurate anot?

Viper52 SG

It doesn't have to be... Smile

You gotta admit...these guerillas are pretty resourceful...much the the VC during the Vietnam War.... Mr. Green

spencer99 SG

they should fit it with a periscope sight, then the firer can shoot from within the trench without showing his head.... MLRPGS Mk I

Multiple Launch Rocket Propelled Grenade System Mark I

I reckon "Rocket Man" is only for the pre-firing phase. After firing, the appropraite theme could well be "One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces". Mr. Green

Joe Black SG

Well, this could be the new suicide weapon. Should award the designer and the operators Darwin award each.

Gedanken SG

Great idea! As I understand the rules, the Darwin Award requires at least one recorded death, though.

Tango1 SG

Or rather, "We Gotta Get Outta This Place." Mr. Green

my my my, i wonder had that weapon actually been use or not whore............i think tying 4 rpg-7 together and attach a string over all the trigger better sia

Gedanken SG

Laughing Nah, that's still (barely) in the pre-fire stage! Mr. Green

the sight is obviously an "agar agar" system... if u're firing it at a hospital, or a police station, doesn't matter if u hit the 4th floor or the 6 floor... as long as its a hit...

and if there's back blast, then recoil should be minimal... same principal as the carl gustav and the armbrust... back-blast offsets recoil.

nevertheless, the one firing better be quite big-sized...

Jazzswing SG

Is this the weapon Bush was actively seeking? Laughing

wd1 SG

better wear helmet and full face protection when firing that thing!!
