A lot of ITE Grads have a good future ahead!

Chelzea SG

On a serious note, ppl tend to make ITE e butt of their jokes (i admit,i have done dat be4) Confused i feel PPl land up ITE cos of a poor family background or r jus to playful( may have to work to support themselves) rather then dey are dumb.

So if they are willing to work hard ,they will succeed.

Cool

There're also people whose destiny is that no matter how hard they work, their careers still go nowhere one.

It's all about destiny.

neutral_onliner SG

Actually ITE (technical)r more recognised oversea as it is more hands-on based than theory based.

In 2day world, pple wanna see how good ur practical skill are rather than ur 'bull shit' skill. Cool

sohguanh SG

NATO is very prevalent in public sector. Tat is why ITE graduates seldom have a chance to shine cuz education qualification is held like the sacred wand of power to ensure you have the first and foremost criteria to join and rise up their league of power Mr. Green

Texcoco II SG

Where are all the ITE-haters? Mr. Green

sohguanh SG

Agree totally. But if you are a scholar u are so much better off in the public sector cuz basically your career path are planned for you and unless you break law and drop into police case, you are virtually guaranteed an almost life-time of job stability and MONEY!!!! Mr. Green

Can you imagine a 30+ years old guy assuming some SUPER high position management position without even battling for it? Maybe there is a battle but I would rather call it a skirmish than a real battle.

browniebaobao SG

y go listen to the rumours.. aiyooo...

If u do well in CBS u can get into local poly..

unless ur results no gd then can go try SIM.

but then the SIM diploma and a local poly diploma really got difference.

browniebaobao SG

correct!

but if u wana be a worker and not a boss, it's v realistic de, ple look at ur qualifications.

The man who was death SG

electronics engineering now can branch out to programming, issit true?

sohguanh SG

Every discipline also can branch out but it depend if you are capable to excel in the new discipline well. Of cuz for some discipline you need qualification but at least for IT there is no professional body to get certified so if you tink you can do programming, you are very much welcomed Mr. Green

codename4 SG

ITE is ITE . Oxford is Oxford. Dont ever compare.
ITE can never be compared to polys in Singapore already... dont talk about Oxford.

jajajaj SG

hallo friend, fack you

Texcoco II SG

u join this just to say this crap? Try harder leh Laughing

mhcampboy SG

wow... your first post and you scold vulgarities already Shocked Shocked

snowbird82 SG

Good academic qualifications does not necessary mean a great future, there is just a much higher possibility of one. No offence to ITE grads but the likelihood of them being more successful than a graduate is very small but not impossible.. And most grads now start with from around 1.8k onwards…

Rock^Star SG

Brudder brudder, if u wana shoot profanities, fine but pls state ur reason.
Otherwise, if u look at it in retrospect, it looks damn senseless

Hanor, hanor, that's what I'm saying too. Cool

Grade A is Grade A, Grade D is Grade D.

So, dun say Grade D is on par with Grade A just becos Grade D is able to have some notable achievements.

snobbish SG

I wun name names but someone, a sec 3 dropout has gotten basic pay of 2k, lowest is 1.6k.. If you show potential, papers dun matter

GHoST_18 SG

D for distinction...

A for average...
