You know, all this is just culture.
Back when I was in Germany for a while, motorists at night when
passing each other on a two way road, will swicth to low beam to
avoid blidning the other oncoming motorist.
Here, nobody gives a damn! Instead, they try to OUTSHINE each
other! Because the light glaring from the other approaching
motorist, so the other motorist turn on high beam as well.
Mentality. It's immaturity of mentality and the lack of fine
culture. Courtesy in europe is almost second nature! Requires no
reminder to be considerate, it is AUTOMATIC!
When or rather how, do you think Singapore can arrive at such a
level of graciousness??
