THE MIDGET SUBMARINE CLASS "MG110/ER"
The Midget Submarine is a sturdy and inexpensive craft dedicated to
carrying combat divers and Chariots for covert operations. The
basic Midget "MG110/ER" can be upgraded to a SWATS (Shallow Water
Attack Submarine) at any time.

THE SHALLOW WATER ATTACK SUBMARINE (SWATS®) CLASS "MG130/ER"
The SWATSâ class "MG130/ER", is particularly suitable for shallow
and restricted waters where the use of a conventional or nuclear
submarine would entail unacceptable risks.
Tasks include:
Mine laying
Attacks on warships and other vessels with wire guided torpedoes,
minitorpedoes and missiles.
Transportation of Chariots and combat divers for covert
operations
Intelligence gathering.
Thanks to her small dimensions, the SWATSâ may navigate in a few
meters of water, crawling and lying on the sea bed. The small
dimensions of the craft are also responsible for her stealth, as
the enemies detection equipment must search for a craft with a
very low target strength and magnetic signature in an environment
with strong bottom reverberations.
The SWATSâ class "MG 130/ER" is provided with a powerful and
versatile armament which can assume different configurations in
accordance with the type of mission in hand. Such armament includes
21" wire guided torpedoes, missiles, minitorpedoes, magneto
acoustic mines and Chariots.
The SWATSâ is provided with a fully integrated control system,
comprehensive passive and active detection equipment and an Air
Independent Propulsion system (AIP) called UAPE (Underwater
Auxiliary Propulsion Engine).
