Sadly, all hong kong flights are operated by Jetstar planes
already, the only reason why Valueair retained its name was that
Indonesia authorities have not authorised the transfer of air
rights from Valueair to Jetstar, so they have to technically retain
that branding for them to fly.

The only budget that flies there now is jetstar asia @ www.jetstarasia.com
. Before you tried that, head down to SIA website to see if they
have any great deals (sometimes $98 return deals) or www.zuji.com.sg to
search for a variety of flights, you may sometimes get a cheaper,
yet full service flight.
If not, can fly tiger airways to Shenzhen and take a bus from the
airport to Hong Kong, though not really recommended due to the
relatively high crime rate at S.Z. and bus instructions may not be
clear.
