lets say the traffic lights juz turned red. the road is a slope backwards. infront of u is a taxi and u have juz stopped behind him. during that time there are no other cars around, the taxi driver is alone and u are alone. the taxi suddenly started to rolled backwards and hit ur front bumper. upon inspecting u realise there are damages to ur front bumper and u confront the taxi driver. however the taxi driver denies everything and accused you of moving forward to hit his taxi. even after exhanging particulars and threatening to make a report, does it really helps?...as there are no witnesses around, the aren’t any valid claims by either party. he sayd u cant brake in time and kiss his rear bumber, u say his car rollwed backwards and hit ur front bumper. wat i really wanna noe is wat to do should such tings happen?....and not 4getting that the taxi driver is not giving in and is head strong on his accusations, although he knows he is the 1 at fault so as to avoid compensation. pls advise.

I have similar experience. But I at least horn for 1-2mins non-stop. Plus car behind, cannot reverse. Anyway, taxi-driver just got out and see. No damage done, because it is a light kiss.

But from what I read so far, the one behind usually is deem at fault. So if no-car behind you, reverse the hell out. Or don't stay to close to him. If he engage wrong gear and ram into you. Come out take pictures immediately, paying attention to the tyre marks of both cars.

Conclusion, always keep your camera ready and in ease of reach.
