European Made Commercial Vehicles... Opinions?

Hi friends....

I hope to get some un-biased opinion on this issue.

How is driving these vehicles like? I mean, Renault Kagoo, Opel Combi, VW, Fiat.... U know, the vans that these brands sell....

I know there is the issues of:

1. speed limit, (but now they can go 70km/h, good enough for most roads and even the highway)

2. Carry passengers, (suppose i dun need to carry passengers)

How?? buy one of these European made vans? or save up more $$ for the economically priced Picanto / Getz?? Confused

Hi Dude,

Not sure about it but my mechanic fren once told me that thise vehicle like kangoo is bad during maintanence,For example if u just need to change some small parts, maybe $10, it will cost u more than $200 for labour charge as the have to practically remove half of the engine as the space is damn cramp.Do consider this.ciao

some vehicles as u ask is good some is no good..fc u can get at least 700km & up.Itv depend on wat application u after, if u want cheap, can last long km for one tank,rd tax cheap... those are for you...

Some of the Vans are great but is our local regulations that is not too great.... other than 70kmh, you have to stick to the leftmost lane on the highway or police is after you... The height clearance is another big problem, especially at CBD area (unless u buy a japanese pickup). And (i guess) the ride is also not as good as passenger cars too, cos the stock suspension is harder than cars (since it's designed to carry load) Lastly, if i'm not wrong, insurance is not cheaper than passenger cars too...

but of cos, u get to enjoy the great FC (diesel is cheap!!) and the torque (esp turbo'd engine), and annual $500 road tax
