1) They finding a parking slot
2) There buses queuing up at the berths, slowing down the process of leaving

DDU seem to group short working trips with normal trips together, and with areas of duplicate routes, it will also capture as though the buses are together

307 and 307A are grouped together... even though 307A ends at Opp CCK INT, if either one follow the other one closely, the DDU will still show blue even though the frequency of the previous 307 is correct... it will turn back to normal when 307 reaches Blk 352 bus stop...

979: The route between first bus stop to BP Temp Int is always blue... but after it reached the bus stop outside BP Temp Int, DDU will turn back to normal...

979/979M dun seem to face the problem that 307/307A is facing though...

Does this happen to other services with similar cases?

CCK School Holiday Carnival + Chingay showcase Svc Diversion observations

Last night's service diversion at CCK was quite a havoc imo, with many of the passengers and BCs alike not knowing of the diversion/diversion route respectively. Saw SMB3086T (975) BC kept asking SMRT officers stationed at Opp Phoenix LRT bus stop (BS 44149) on where to go, whether or not to stop at bus stops along the diversion route.

Onboard SMB5015K (190), BC have to leave the driver cabin and remind all pax (both upper and lower deck) that there is service diversion ahead and at least 20 pax alighted at the Opp Phoenix LRT bus stop..eventually SMB5015K also stopped at all the bus stops along the diversion route and there were indeed boarding (Opp Blk 26, BS 44139) and alighting activities going on along the 3 bus stops... One pax wanting to alight at CC stop even ask why the BC go straight along CCK Road instead of turning right onto Teck Whye Ave, and he was directed to alight at Blk 204 bus stop (BS 44119)...

190, 975 BCs were required to print 2x inspector tickets (SMB3086T ticket machine not working so didnt print -- can like that if they must print and report to HQ?) upon reaching Opp Phoenix LRT stop while 307 BCs were required to print 2x inspector tickets upon reaching Blk 108 (BS 44411).. SMRT officers were also stationed at all affected bus stops and bus stops along diversion routes on top of the two locations stated above.

Was onboard SMB8021Y on 188-188-2 (188AM02). BOCC called the BC stating that he is too early (DDU was blue, 4min, but in actual fact, bus was 4 mins behind schedule). BC explained situation to BOCC. BOCC then told BC that front bus (SMB1327L) is running a little late but asked the BC to carry on as per schedule, no need slow down... behind bus was 10 mins away....

There seems to be a service diversion for 172 and 975 today due to Qing Ming Festival (notice was displayed on both 172 and 975 buses for 26 Mar 2017 from 0600-1600hrs). Don't recall seeing any official announcement for this.. Last time Qing Ming also no such thing leh i recall...

Onboard SMB108J and bus was behind schedule for more than an hour when it reaches back at BP around 1210hrs.

On another note, onboard SMB1614H on 979 also and bus was 15 mins behind schedule upon departure from 1st bus stop.. HQ eventually gave a 10 min timetable offset and BC managed to catch back the schedule when he reaches the stop after KJE... not sure what happened...

those bus services going to Sin Min area and sv138 usually got this notice saying that congestion are expected.

Nope. It was the usual service diversion notice like those found on service 190 buses when there is diversion along Orchard/Chinatown....
