Foolish people... Mr. Green

I'd just buy a simple saloon car, like a Toyota Corolla... then save the rest and put it into different investments... By the time I want to get married, I should have enough to get 2 Ferrari F430s, one for me, one for my wife.

I'll also have enough to get a house, then leave the rest to grow again... In another, like 5 to 8 years, I should have enough to get a whole collection of exotic cars, all stored in a warehouse in Australia.

Then I'll take time off every 6 months, fly down and drive around in my cars...

Well if I want to spend my money frivolously, I would choose the Lamborghni. Reason because if you drive a Rolls-Royce Phantom, ppl might think I'm an Ah Mat Razz . As well, due to the weight of the Phantom, I think you need a Class 4 license to drive a Phantom.

rallykid SG

Firstly if i got 1M. I wont tell anyone...then buy normal saloon car and invest or use as start up capital for business. Cool Very Happy

Use up 1M to buy lamborgini..then maintainance???how?

ShutterBug SG

1) A fully paid metaliz silver, Jaguar S-Type.
2) A one month round the world holiday for myself and family.
3) Donate some to the needies
4) Save the rest, and hope for the best.

I will pimp the whole Gelyang area and laugh my way to the bank.

Considering one million buck to solely spend on car...(i think that is the intention of the creation of the thread), i would get...

1 Porsche Boxster S - $280k
1 Volvo XC 90 T6 - $210k
1 LS430 / 730i - $260K
1 Cefiro 230JM for my parents - $100k

Total $850k.

The remainer of the $1 million will go to all other addtional cost of owning the cars like road tax, petrol, etc...

Do we want to go in this direction instead of sticking to the rationalistic choice of taking the money and invest to get more money and get better car etc...

Just your thought, does not need to be rational or what you actually would execute in real life. What would you do if someone present you with $1 million and say that you can only spend the money on cars and nothing else.

I think this will make things more interesting. Very Happy

I'll get the hell out of here (Singapore). Probably go Australia or something like that. No COE or craps like that.

Life is pretty much controlled here, don't you think?

ShutterBug SG

Getting the hell outta here (Singapore), sounds far better than that silver S-Type, & holiday trip.

But I hate the prospect of having to learn how to use a gun for home & self protection in Australia or any other country for that matter.

free4ever SG

Absolutely, even if cars are expensive here, i would rather still stay in SG.
