To be honest, I am surprised 129 will be amended to ply
additional bus stops. The route is already very long, and very
profitable.
Anyway, one bus stop won't make a difference to the travel times
and travel fares. Commuters will still take 129 because there's no
better alternative.
The additional bus stop is probably made at the request of the
people living at Gambir Ridge and the surrounding areas.
Hi mr gekpohboy, why do you write 'the route is already very
long and very profitable?'
The distance before and after amendment to ply the extra stop
does not change at all. So nothing to do with 'the route is very
long'.
After GCM, the fares collected go to govt. Not operator. So
profitability of the service does not matter. Cheers. Thanks.
