definitely goes along petir road means i can safely say 700 will be withdrawn...

coz 700 goes along DTL2 route. if they want to go to orchard, there's 972. for shenton way, i guess MRT

The answer safely say is NO.

Premium 555 will be withdrawn soon after 587/535. Stolen load into the Service 700, 971E and 972.

Service 700 stays. Please follow the negotiated contracts list.

Here is my list:

171 --> Yishun Interchange <> Beauty World (loop)

67 --> Tampines Interchange <> Newton Circus (loop)

986 --> CCK Interchange <> Beauty World (loop) new service replacing sv 67 between CCK and Upper Bukit Timah road

Future rationalizations:

sv 66 once DTL3 is up (Bedok -> Newton Circus (loop), new service to replace Jurong East - Beauty World sector). sv 700 to be extended/modified. sv 961 to be replaced by another service between Lor 1 and Queensway but deleted between Woodlands and Queensway (alternative: 170, 960).

66 to break it into two.

66: Bedok -> Newton Circus (loop) via Keng Lee Road and new Airport Road direction.

466: Jurong East -> Serangoon Road (loop) via Bukit Batok towns

It could be a possibility if LTA wants to divert 66 twice.

700 will go since loading has dropped.

For those who don't expect such changes, start waking up to reality. LTA is going to chop and cut and make huge amendments in coming year.

Even if 700 goes, there is 190, 960, 972 to city area.

With both 171/700 going away from Stevens to Newton, 972 should be diverted via this stretch rather than Stevens road to provide direct connectivity for condos along the road to Orchard area.

972 may also terminate at Marina Center with the new rationalization.

Bukit Panjang Road --> Pending Road --> Petir Road --> Dairy Farm Road --> Upper Bukit Timah Road --> Hume Ave --> Hillview and back.
