Blockhead SG Basically u will be conducting inspection of ammo in varying sizes. U will have to attend a course for a few weeks tho. Shouldn't be stay-in unless for guard duty. U will be under supply and transport arm.
hunter SG army taking in nsf as ammo tech? in the early 90s, ammo mech/tech were all regulars, never nsf. nsf were just ammo storemans. there ain't many army ammo techs around let alone ammo ofrs as a qualified ammo tech, u will put on the ammo tech badge.

kopiosatu SG thought of being in guards was when i was in BMT and slightly after that... following which i became an aircon soldier and almost cannot sign up in the airforce, so i considered this~
Silenthunter SG I've got a fren who is an ammo tech...but I only hear all his rantings about his superiors and subordinates....all the office politics stuff.... nothing heard much about his job scope though..... hope you'll had better luck
djugashvili SG Ammo tech's main job has already been commercialised so the term "ammo tech" is just a name but doing storeman job...kopiosatu don't be stupid go and sign on..there's better life out there... don't always look forward to lobo in your NS, can go cheong swa go...it's better for you. Ammo tech's life may sound good but also have siong times...if you're not prepared to be responsible for shortage of ammo, then you better forget about joining this vocation. I was ammo trained that's why I can share my experience with you...not a good place to be especially working environments...there are some impudent senior specs there who still work with the same old mentality ie you do a mistake they mark you for life kind...
