SMB8023S on 176 BC drive super slow at around 25km/h until couldn't take it anymore and got off near Bukit Batok MRT to take MRT instead because god knows when 176 will ever reach my destination. Funny thing is when I boarded at Upper Bk Timah Rd the bus app showed 'arriving' for nearly 4 minutes until the bus came, which means 8023S obviously behind schedule yet drive until so slow...

but srsly do they need so many buses?

PM peak 1/4 of it are running empty sometims

AM peak only towards tampines got crowd

but AM to yishun/woodlands quite moderate

but 969A for AM should cancel since it is always running with 10 - 15 pax

SG5081X bus captain caught having a toilet break at Newton Stn Exit B while on revenue service (Service 518). The entrance door was left open.

I understand that the bus captain needs a toilet break as it is a long routed service to drive but it poses as a risk of someone being able to drive the bus away, putting the bus commuters at risk.

So I was one of the many people getting to ride on SMB1444G on my usual home svc, so there was a WAB who is obviously entitled to board first. Then bcos many people were angry with this (I am neutral), they go start saying like this "Eh use ur brain ah! I board first also I dont disturb mah. I pay 3 dollars for fare...bla bla bla" just basically about the WAB always boarding first. This just happened on SG5700T (67) too

Whats wrong with just waiting for a few seconds for WAB to board first really. Not like they take ur seats also ==

i think its pretty normal but then there is nth the bus drivier can do if he rlly need a toliet break as he can't ask all the passengers to alight and board again

SBS7477M door closing chime really low pitch sia, D and B instead of the usual F# and D#. Lowest one I’ve heard is E and C#.

I dont think so. 518 just make their sheduled bus stop and carry on since there is no nearby toliet as the nearest one is 5 - 10 mins away
