Tower Transit
Tower
Transit。"
Translation:
"According to the source, some of Tower Transit's bus captains
told their fellow colleagues to join them on a strike on 20 June,
to express their unhappiness on things like the shift arrangements
and working hours."
"It was said that at least four or five bus captains suddenly
applied for medical leave. As a result, the company has to make an
emergency request to call back the bus captains on leave and adjust
those on stand-by, to make up for the shortage. In the end, there
was minimal impact on bus operations."
"Several bus captains who declined to be named said that part of
the bus captains who suddenly applied for medical leave were
originally from SBS Transit and SMRT before transferring to Tower
Transit, and had many years of driving experience."
"It is believed that these bus captains are not happy that they
have to drive more trips or drive another route, as this has
affected their over-time salary."
Guys, the logic behind this is simple:
They just want to show attitude.
Tower Transit should just fire them, if they are not able to
produce MC or clinic receipt to show that they are genuinely not
feeling well.
