Uh thats not true...
During the SBST days TECHNICALLY no boarding is also offered at
T1/3. Those who did get on will have their bus stop over at T2 for
10-15 min depending on when the
next trip begins. The problem of inadequate signage lies in any
person but the operator itself, probably CAAS. Any gesture by GA or
SBST to inform pax can only be considered an initiative, where its
lack thereof was also observed when SBST operated 36. The svc info
clearly said operating from T2, and outbound directiom showed that
after T2 the bus is not turning back at any terminal.
The reason why buses were all off svc was prob a practice of GA
to turn its buses' EDS this way when it enters the terminals, to
avoid confusion for commuters (people thinking this bus is city
bound, when actl it will end svc at T2). The fact that it caused a
confusion for these passengers could only be attributed to SBST
misguiding pax that you could board at T1/3, by still turning on
the 36 EDS. In other words, it is SBST's past practices that
contributed to this problem. I feel GA is being the scapegoat
here.
so it still does not explain why there is queueing berth for
sv36 at T1/T3? since it is for alighting only?
and it still does not explain why there are sv36 (GA) buses
picking up paxes at T3/T1
SBST issue a poster when T3 open, clearly mention that sv36 will
proceed to T1/T2 before carring to the city...
if GA want to change the practise, it is fine..but they need to
put up posters to inform the paxes, so that the paxes can take
other bus services to T2 to take sv36... if i remember
correctly, the destination at the bus stop at T1/T3 for sv36 show
Tomsonlin Road..
