u are right, i didn't notice is ave 2 and not ave 1, so my theory abt ave 1 and ave 2 is wrong.

but wouldnt it actually be easier the way i suggested... lol, bus 20 on changi sth ave 1 dont immediately turn right, go forward stop @ expo mrt first then u-turn and then turn left onto ave 2. Then can go to ccp easier

Hi mr SBS3975T, sbs 20 did stop at the bus stop along changi south ave 1 (opposite yusen logistics) which is very near before expo mrt before turning right to changi south ave 2. Now it is made to stop at 1 new stop outside changi city point which is created for sbs 118. After that sbs 20 continues on its journey to loop one round before turning back. Cheers. Thanks.

It's not the bus stop outside Expo MRT. Take note the new bus stops are along Changi South Ave 2, not Ave 1.

Having said that, it is verry likely that the express sector will be modified in the future.

Hi mr array 88, that new stop is for sbs 118. So they realise sbs 20 could have also stopped at it as well so they made sbs 20 to stop there since it plies that road as well. If sbs 20 main purpose is to make one loop to serve the companies there, I do not think they will modify the express sector around expo. Cheers. Thanks.

It is just bus stop added. sv 20 can be still routed from CBP looping at Tampines. Maybe not now, but in future.

Should build 2 stops along Compassalve crescent and have sv 83 diverted via crescent.

So far no new bus stops spotted along St 52 / St 51 (under construction) yet to support theory of a new feeder / intratown extension, though any such service/amendment can theoretically use the existing stops along Ring Road and the new stops at Ave 1 being built for 117.

Hi mr busanalyser, I think unlikely anymore. In future, tampines interchange will have been expanded. If they have that intention for sbs 20, they will have done to coincide with the opening of CBP terminal on 20 dec 2015. I believe LTA is planning the remaining spaces in CBP terminal for other new services. This should be more logical to cater to the huge number of students expected for SUTD university next to it. All, saw new bus stops being erected outside the condo along Punggol east road near the Punggol east flyover. Sbs 50, 62, 85 will definitely stop at the bus-stop in future as the services ply that route. Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr busanalyser, you are right. Global Indian international school. Cater to the foreign private market. In the plans for few years already. One international school (not Indian) in pasir ris and one in Punggol. This is one of those areas where it will push up demand for sbs 85. Cheers. Thanks.
