LTA's Double Deck massive tender has been extended to 8 Feb 2018.

Volvo "launches" the B8L on LTA's original closing date, talks on their press release as though they are the incumbent:

Looks like Volvo is not going down without a fight with MAN/STK. But I am inclined to think the odds are still not in their favour.

Moreover, this tender does not have a fixed delivery date. Does not seem to me that LTA is in a rush for buses..

Most probably pricing factors but i still think MAN has the edge.
