Seriously 981 doesnt need DDs,Just add 1 more A22 make it 5 buses enough.Those 2 E500s deploy on 167 more better.

Have you taken or observed 981 before? I have seen the DDs on 981 getting very well utilized to the tune of 80-100 pax during its operating hours. SMRT is very stingy in deploying HC buses - if it does it is for a good reason.

SBST on other hand is too liberal with its DDs.

I do agree that 167 deserves 2 DDs.

Most times the A95 that do 868 AM trip, will go back to depot and only use as back up after 1 trip. The other A95 on 868 does only 1 AM trip and then crossover to 176 during PM.

Can do well if converted to loop svc instead of uni directional..6 buses during Am/Pm with freq of 5-7 mins.SMRT got no enough DDs bro..

Based on my observations for the past two weeks, 256 have DDs running along with 1 citaro and 1 Euro IV KUB.
