Loading of the yis/wdl feeders and intratowns are much higher
than 269/315 etc
269/315 SDs with current frequency no longer leave the int
(which is the main loading point i believe) totally full.. only
around 1/2 or 3/4 standing space filled even during the main peak
period
on the other hand yis/wdl feeders have similar frequency to
269/315, but yet even bendies leave the int full to door, and rigid
definitely have many pax unable to board, so they wont be able to
cope with full SD fleets.. unless the frequency is reduced further
to 1-2mins which will be really unrealistic
I hope they don't go 269/315 style. I still think it is a
mistake to have so many SDs/buses running on 261/265/269/315 when
DDs can do the job well.
Hopefully they don't make these mistakes on YIS/WDL
services.
