Hi mr carbikebus, yes we trust you. We want a new bus service to connect somewhere from xxxx to loop at telok blangah heights area which seem to be quite badly connected. There are many new blocks of flats there but there are only 120, 124 and 273. For the rest of the services, need to either walk or take a bus transfer to telok blangah road or Henderson road which is quite a distance away. Cheers. Thanks.

St Mikes still okay because only SBST buses..If introduce svc 12x(Svc 21 split) still got a few lots or can park at the sideway.

Super high loading on 43/M at 10.45 a.m.

At last, the DDs are well utilised.

SBS3435K (43M) and SBS3440U (43) towards Serangoon/UEC respectively were packed full to the door at YCK Rd. They were already full when they entered YCK Rd. Doesn't look like one off, the pax seem to come from Buangkok Green.

Same for SBS3459S on 43 opposite at Buangkok Green towards Punggol. SBS6508P on 43M was behind SBS3459S with less than 20 pax. Front EDS still spoilt, but no desto.

Tampines St 83 -- 19 (-1/6), 37 (-1/19) Saw a 291 at St 84 so will be just 1 min behind. Only 1 person did not board

Tampines Interchange ... reached at 11.04am. BC asked me to alight.

Bus departed at 11.12 am (basically halted for 08 mins). Bus departed with ZERO (0) pax from interchange.

I went to Century Square and came back since I had to alight anyway.

Came back to board bus at 12.27pm 5551G

Tampines Interchange -- 0 note: this is the 2nd DD observed leaving interchange with 0 pax.

* Spoke to the BC. He said it is this pattern since bus launch. Say he not know why DD deploy on this route and was laughing. Say bus get more pax only to Tampines interchange but leave mostly with less than 5 pax from Tampines. But he agreed when I said that if there is 291 in front, there won't be anyone boarding to Tampines also. Such a waste of resources.

I would categorise this service 46, as well as 116, as 'cannibal services'. They duplicate other bus services and are meant to 'cannibalise' other services' pax rather than eat the MRT pax).

I complain?At least I experienced it first hand rather than some random observation and yours is quite contradicting..Whatever favor you,You will write something like 80-100 pax when actual thing is not..You say you're busy man then got time to do bus loading analyze?

Yes. Weekday peak hour observations have peak loading of 15-17 pax from Tampines - UEC. Most buses leave Tampines Interchange with 0 pax on board.

Such a waste to deploy DDs. Can do with full fleet SD.

Two DD timings 5.06pm, 5.38pm. I took the 5.38pm one to CCK.

Boon Lay Interchange -- 39 (0/39)

JW St 64 -- 39 (0/0)

Jalan Boon Lay -- 39 (0/0), 41 (0/2)

Jalan Bahar -- 44 (-3/6), 47 (-2/5), 47 (-3/3), 52 (0/5), 54 (0/2) aft Nanyang ave, 54 (0/0), 73 (0/19) opp bus stop also had many people, mostly in police uniform, 84 (0/11), 84 (0/0)

I was amazed that bus already had +80 pax at Jalan Bahar before hitting Old CCK Road. Expected bus to get +100 pax.

Old CCK Road -- 81 (-3/0), 81 (0/0), 81 (0/0), 81 (0/0), 81 (0/0), 82 (0/1) at least 10 pax waiting for 975, 86 (0/4) around 20 pax at bus stop who did not board, 88 (0/2), 88 (0/0), 88 (0/0)

Surprisingly all along Old CCK Road only 7 pax boarded while around 40-50 pax waited for 975 and chose not to board. 975 frequency seems good because could spot at least 5 buses on 975/975A in opposite direction just along Old CCK Road.

Bus stops in opposite direction at Keat Hong Camp and Home Team Academy had around 30-40 pax (I assume all these are for 172 as 975A had just called the bus stop).

There is huge dormitary under construction b/w Home Team Academy and Brickland Road. It is HUGE. I think it could be getting built in anticipation of work for future Tengah town.

Yes the sungei tengah lodge in LCK had been bringing in more ppl onboard 172 and 975 towards CCK esp morning peak... SMRT seems to be doing well with the downroutes, just almost fully packed buses that are from LCK and fully seated buses from downroutes from Brickland Rd area
