Just 1 question about Christianity.
According to my friend, to go to heaven you must truely believe in
Jesus and be have good morals in your life. You can make mistakes
but as long as before you die you truely realise your wrongs and
decided to be good you can go heaven as well. Is this ture in
christianity? Please anyone whos a christian correct me if i am
wrong. I am a freethinker myself.
If yes, then a christian who is a murderer his whole life truely
realised his faults and believed in Jesus sincerely will go to
heaven but a a muslim who is kind hearted and helps the needy his
entire life will go to hell just because he did not believe in
Jesus?
Well there are several things that don't agree with being a
christian in the above statement. A true christian who truly
believes will not murder , it will be a despicable and unthinkable
act to him. The holy sprit within him will prevent him from doing
so.
However, yes , we believe that even if youve been a murderer all
your life and just on your deathbed , you repent from your sins and
truly believe, you will be saved.
