Hi... this thread is created for anyone who would like to post car shows, events, roadshows, etc... any automotive happening in our island... You may want to include foreign automotive events... if you wish... So, I shall start rolling the tyre first...

I know most of us had know about it since a few months ago... but well just include it anyway... (update if you have the latest info on SGPF1) hope its better this year...

Auto events for 2008 was a big failure, SIN and S'pore motorshow. It was the 1st year that I didn't attend any shows at all.

Hope that 2009 would be a better year for the automobile exhibition.

Agree... the S'pore motorshow 2008 was a disappointment. Only three brands took part, comprising Nissan, Subaru and Honda... saved for a lone F430 displayed at the Goodyear stand and a Aston Martin DB9 from AutoGylm (I think I spelt it right).

However, it wasn't a bad year for motor events... we got a successful run with the F1...and well my favourite motor event... HongSeh 40th Anniversary showcase!

Monday - Friday (10 am to 8 pm)

Saturday - Sunday (9 am to 7 pm)

Anyone went for the SPH Classified Car-nival at EXPO? I think for last year, that exhibition is more worth going than the Motorshow 2008 .... furthermore it's free and is organised every year...

I did not attend any of the Car-nivals... but I hope that I will be able to attend one... Will it be held at Expo, as in previous events?

Yes, it is at EXPO. It is a 1 day event. Usually occurs between end June to mid-July. Admission is free and usually most Japanese car makes will be there.
