Well... the time has come... for another edition of the 2009 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix... Expect more thrills and spills (don't bother thinking about the recent Renault's 'crashgate' saga)... In this season, it will be BMW's last attendance in this world championship...

For those who will be going down to Marina Bay to catch the race... enjoy... while for me... I will be among a handful of viewers to watch 'live' on TV (no SCV), enjoy chips and drinks with my pals at the comfort of my friend's house...

Watched it throughout... not much happenings... I think Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and other support races, as well as Formula Drift is more exciting!

Another event coming up... nope, its not another Asia autosalon... and unless you own your set of wheels... the other mode of transport will be taxi... Huh, What is it?

Mitsubishi's Extreme Drive 2009

Where: Changi Exhibition Centre
When: Nov 14-15
What: 2 sessions per day at 8am and 2pm with a maximum capacity of 192 participants over two days
Price: $168 per person, $128 for current Mitsubishi car owners. Participants will take home goodie bags and a certificate of participation

It's a driver-intensive training program where car owners can get the most out of their 'Mitsubishis'... Fun? Well I can't say since I don't own my set of wheels... perhaps I can rent a heli?

Talking about Mazda, hope they can revive the RX7... At least to do battle with 370Z and the Toyobaru (Toyota & Subaru jv) FT-86 concept...

Audi has hosted many local events this year... One of them, will be the 'iceberg' exhibit launch of the Q5 held at Marina Keppel Bay for a luxury boat exhibition... while another will be the A3 Cabrio launch held at the German's marque fashion festival in front of Ngee Ann City...

This latest event is held to celebrate their anniversary of 'vorsprung durch technik' innovation... The highlight will be the recently released R8 V10 5.2 FSI Quattro... If you are a fan of this supercar, you may want to check it out below:
