SixSentinels SG Objects have ‘color’ because of light rays hitting the object at certain angles, and the light is split, causing the different colors to present themselves on that object. Does this mean that everyone and everything is colorless without light?
^spidee^ SG Interesting.. the scientific response would be that we see colours on objects because they reflect light waves from the visible spectum (visible wavelengths between ultraviolet rays and radar waves) back to our eyes. Thus, without light, we would probably be black?
dinky1409 SG Without light, we probably be black? I think we all actually already knows that but it just didn't occur to us. When we enter a room with absolutely no light, it all seems very pitch black right? There you go.. If you think that sometimes, after some time our eyes can see some of the things in the room, that's because there are a bit of light in the room, and our eyes take some times to adjust(something to do with the iris or retina getting bigger or something like that) to absorb those little amount of light. If totally absolutely no light in the room, we can never see anything. Its total pitch black.
