Next match must win! I hate to lose! But must admit the opponents are quite strong, and I was flat out of breath towards end of 2nd half to be running.

Have to agree... i was one of them trying alittle too hard. Lost steam in the 2nd half.
Agreed, kelvin had a great game. Was alittle stunned where he got the energy for those breath-taking overlappings.
Yapster has been quite a handful for the opposition too. keep it coming man.

apart from the several skirmishes between both sets of players which sort of disrupted the spirit of the game, i thought overall it was an enjoyable game.

ang deserves a pat on the back for his all-round contribution. was unlucky not to have added to his goal tally.

juz want to highlight that even with our recent disappointing run (1W, 4D, 5L in the last 10 games), i don't think we are playing badly at all. felt we were unlucky on several occasions..or maybe jem juz needs to get a new pair of slippers..

on a more positive note, a few of our players are finally displaying their true potential. robin "sublime" yap especially has been excellent of late and it's been a joy playing alongside him. bara is the other one worth mentioning.

hope we can get a win next wk before the fasting month starts for me. wld be more than happy with a mere 1-0 scoreline..

Its been a long time since I appear here and I know its not a worthy thing to mention. Embarassed

Would like to thank Kai for your compliment, but honestly, I myself do not think I am playing well yesterday.

However, as a whole team engaging in the play yesterday, I would think it's excellent cos we are finally realishing the play of covering and supporting each other despite the intense heat and the limitation of Subs. Everyone is trying their best.

As for my goal tally is concerned, I hope to improve on it too but most important of all, let's all go out there this weekend and snatch our very long awaited win for all of us. Laughing Cool

It's good to see some of you guys in here again... Ian, the score was 1-1.

I think it is very obvious that we have actually improved as a team, although our recent results indicate otherwise. Not to make excuses, but I believe we have been facing generally good opponents in most of the past 10 games... less Ah God's team, which was a joke of a match anyway... Rolling Eyes

The spirit of the team has been fantastic and it says a lot when such levels of morale can be kept even though we've often not been getting the results we deserve. It really does make it all the more enjoyable to play in this team... Wink

Anyway, I'm sure we're all looking forward to the next game to put things back on right track again, but there'll be no comments on corner turnings Mr. Green ....

By the way, with my exams just round the corner, Robin will be handling all matters for the match this Sunday... See you then... Cool

I'm back and so will the match reports!!!!yay!!!!

Juz wanted to say that our fighting spirit has been improving,much to the extent of us caring more on pushing forward and scoring,thus compromising possession and control of the game.I am guilty of that too,coz there were times when i pushed to0 far up and also refused to pass in front of goal,and released Barbie type shots.

However.wif Richard settling comfortably in defence,Ian and Kelvin being on top of their game,the defence seems to be getting back their bite after losing Charlie for awhile now.

I can sense victory coming very soon with this kind of attitude and urgency that we have cultivated and adopted,and it won't be about luck,it won't be about my pink slippers,it would just be about Reds FC playing together as a team,and earning the hard fought victory.

Would hereby like to thank the team on our gritty performance. Even though we were 2 goals down we played a sensible game and eventually came up with the goods. Hope the "draw jinx" will be broken once and forever and the team can get back to its winning ways. Wink

Yeh man, winning the game wasnt seemingly impossible when Rob went out with the injury with the opp increasing the lead to 2-0. I tot our morale was at rock-bottom.

With only 12 players, we displayed a gritty performance which eventually won us the match. Indeed applaudable. Very Happy

Let's us cross our fingers for Rob's injury to be a minor one and be back with us soon.

Guys, I'm back in here! Hope my internet connections stays this way. Difficulties linking up for the past few months. Amount of action in here has decreased alot, wat happen leh??

Anyway, I will be totally out for a month Sad (hopefully not more)....injured my ligament. Hope I can be back soon. Anyway, thanx for the concern. Would try to come down for the games even though not playing. Wink

In the meantime, have fun. There should be somebody new to cover center back position (Khairul's name keeps coming into my mind!!.....hahaha, juz kidding).

Last week was a great game other than injuring myself. Found that the opponents were abit too irritating, noisy and cocky!! Luckily we beat that bunch of irritating monkeys. Twisted Evil

Thank you ALL who played the game at Farrer Park for saving my candy arse after i missed that penalty Embarassed Guess it would take donkey years before im allowed to take another one yah.
I hereby apologise for my blundder and thank God it didnt cost us the game. To the scorers Ang, Bernard, Boon and my good friend Mr. "Short White Socks Own Goal King" and all who participated in the game, be it one half or whatever, you deserve a pat on the back for that gutsy performance.
