Arthur Arty weapon locating radar is a product from Ericsson
Microwave System with a range of over30 km to
locate enemy Arty, mortar and rockets position.
SAF already has six AN/TPQ-37 radars which have the same range ,
maybe the Arthur are not for sg?
Anyway MAF bought two of them.
If the SAF need more , they should go for the AN/TPQ-47 which is
the upgarde version of the 37s, has a range for conventional
artillery (60 km) and tactical ballistic missiles (250+ km)
locations.
