Kedak
PASIR PUTEH, Kelantan, Sept 21 (Bernama) -- The Defence Ministry
will station its fleet of Sukhoi 30-MKM fighter planes at the
military airport at Gong Kedak near here.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the ministry would
take delivery of the 18 Russian-built planes from 2005
onwards.
He said various facilities would be built at the airport base to
accommodate the planes.
Najib said this to reporters after attending a subscription dinner
in aid of education here lSaturday night.
