coffeeortea SG i recently just bought an AMD Athlon 64 processor 3500+, i just want to know if i have made a wise purchase, as the price was low. with regards to the currently evolving technology, am i somewhere near the apex? or has technology left me behind

coffeeortea SG ooo.. one thing is.. my processor does not state that it is XP. it just says amd athlon 64 processor 3500+ with Hyper Transport Technology.
