Your definition of a " tested platforms " as that of a system,
equipment has ESTABLISHED / PROVED IN OPERATIONAL SERVICE in other
countries - correct ?
Then it is NOT TRUE & ACCURATE to say that SAF
" have the tradition of buying tested platforms "
SAF have been first buyer / lead / co-launch customer for new
weapons systems, equipments etc.

The above statement is not that accurate & factual.
It is like saying that say that F-16 was chosen because " reduces
the retraining time and the logistics requirement with a smooth
transition garunteed " since RSAF uses F-5E .
UH-1H Huey & UH - 60 Hawk are totally different helicopters
manufactured by different companies
They are not only ONE generation apart but both of them are in are
in totally differrent class.
