Rhonda SG As I was coming home from work in a cab this morning, I saw this thing of awesome beauty... THE RENAULT MEGANE SPORT SALOON I even interrupted the taxi driver and HAD to ask, 'Uncle! Uncle! What's the model of that car that just drove past? Catch up with it quick so I can see!' So, the Uncle obliged and wow, it had a beautiful name too - The Renault Megane... When it's time for me to purchase a car, it shall be The Megane! In the meantime, it shall feature in my car dreams! hehehe! [/b]
Rhonda SG Nope. In fact, I know nothing about cars. This particular model just somehow appealed to me. It just somehow stood out on the road.
[email protected] SG isnt tis model the one tat Guo Liang has been advertising for? smart car…great design…
Rhonda SG Don't know cause I don't watch Channel 8. I guess, not many folks in here love this car? I wonder why...
manualisbetter SG expensive when new, maintenance is high and low resale value... if you have spare cash to spend, why not... BTW, the picture you shown is not the sports version... The RS model is only available in 3/5 doors and twin exhausts when viewing from the back..

[/b]think you can keep this car in yr dream coz i heard renault cars are lousy....in fact most european cars are high-maintenanced, high fc, everything high lah.
Rhonda SG Hmm... that's odd cause I got the photos right out of Renault's website and they stated the car model right above the photos.
Rhonda SG There are so many things I need to learn about cars. I picked this one based on looks and looks only. Pai seh... I'm learning from you guys though. OK, so because I have a need in future to know as much about cars as possible, I shall hang out here quietly and gwai gwai learn as much about cars as I can. If I ask really stupid questions, bear with me, ok? I'm afterall really new in this and totally ignorant about cars.
VW King SG Aiyoh...so ugly....no taste ah...Renault...lots of maintenance probs and also the body structure is not too good. However, handling should be tops...as they are constantly involved in motorsports.... U got some extra $$..why not....everyone is entitle to his/her own dream car...
Ethan- SG shld try the new renault sports 225?? i read that got 225 bhp wif turbo 0-100 is 6.5 secs wicked
mahai102 SG renault are wonderful cars to own…your mechanic will positively thank you for bringing it in so often for repairs…never mind, since your wallet is so fat, lightening it faster won’t make any difference to you…
seancannot SG Good choice!! I am a fan of the Megane too!!! They called it the corolla killer i think it looks really solid !! French cars are knwon for their comfortable ride........I beleive it share soem of the mechanical underpinning with the new nissan Latio .....Nissan cars has improved cos of REnault influnence IMO , conversely REnault durability should have improved as well....Mazda 3 is another all time favorite of mine which also has europeans roots with Volvo and Ford... you would like it also Rhonda !!
Kuali Baba SG Well...the Latio shares its floorpan with the Modus and not the Megane family. I guess it's alright to dream...Rhonda isn't planning on buying one yet.
Rhonda SG Actually, I'm not going to buy a car anytime soon... not while I'm still in Singapore anyways. Eventually, when I move out of Singapore, I would have to learn driving and then purchase a car. I'm just thinking ahead and picking up a little knowledge here and there so that when that time comes, I will be a little bit more car saavy than I am now and won't be fleeced. There are soooo many things to learn regarding cars.
zulu4 SG sounds like u still have a long way to go before your first purchase, until then, you can try these forums as well: http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/ http://forums.hardwarezone.com/ http://bmw-sg.com/forums/
