You don't think it is cool, but the owner does, isn't that all that matters. I personnally like those who personnalize their ride, at least you wouldn't be bored by all those like alike car running around in the Jams.

u can change ur air filter, ur exhaust, ur ICE, ur brakes, ur suspension, even ur engine. isn't this called "personalizing" ur ride as well?

y go personalizing ur ride by sticking stickers telling everyone that ur car is something it isn't (type-R on a hyundai, ferrari logo on a toyota)? or adding something that does absolutely nothing (air vents that go nowhere, neon lights to attract insects)? thats not simply personalizing. thats called being a poseur.

That is a difficult word, I will have to check the dictionary. Anyway, I am going to be those guy who add a airscoop for show, or so future modification. So I think along those "poseur" line. I still think those "Type-R" stickers looks cool, but I don't intend to put those stickers. Maybe just some dark fires by the side.

well.. as for mod, i rather go for performance mod rather then the apperance of it. i thrown a strut bar on my car. my corner is better. Laughing as i said performance wise.s

Well i wun say I dun agree with you. When I said what I said, I meant that we cannot just because that person paste sticker, we say he is poseur. I am sure there are poseurs. But I am sure there are some who are not? Or would u generalise that every hyundai or every nissan or any type of cars put sticker or some other things which does nothing is a poseur?

As I said, if you own a car, every morning when u come down to the carpark and see ur car, you wanna have that feeling "I love this car man." Its that person's feelings that matters not ours.

PS: my car doesnt have any stickers or any air scoops that doesnt suck in air. All I did is a strut bar and an air filter. But still I think whatever people do to their cars is up to them.

If you insist on calling them poseurs I dun agree. Maybe if u call some of them people with bad taste, I will put both hands up Laughing

dun read me wrong. i've got no problems with anyone sticking stuff on their cars. it just when they stick stuff proclaiming their rides to be something which it is not that turns me off. it ridiculous to associate one brand of a car to another to begin with. if u have a k&n filter and u stick a K&n sticker, thats fine with me. i've got little bits of stuff stuck on my car too, but at least, i have those things on my car to begin with.

actually lets be honest. if u’re a poseur, u’re a poseur. yea maybe its not very nice to be called one, but if u’re one, there nothing too bad about admitting to it. it’s not like we’re saying its a crime. The funny thing here is, I see poseurs go ahead n do their stuff and then defend themselves to hell just to avoid being called one. Seriously if u really don’t wanna be called one, then dun do the things that will get u labelled one. If u do, then have the guts to face being labelled one.

cheh, dats nothing. the worst i've seen is a red celica with huge, yellow ferrari badge pasted in the position where the toyota sign (front AND back) used to be. either he thinks he's the only person in the whole of singapore to know what a celica looks like or he thinks that nobody has ever seen how a ferrari looks like. i know i know. Mayb this Mit have been tune by MUGEN, or he mod the lancer engin to til hv vtec,and oh yes..mit's engine tune by Mugen will transform to a type R .. Laughing

depends on wad mods ma....mod it 2 go fast nope cos fuel so ex liao...$1.6 Crying or Very sad mod 2 make it drive or ride better(sound insulation,better suspension)
