Mobile
World Congress (MWC) 2017 is at least four months away, but
Nokia can't wait any longer to announce that it will have a keynote
at the annual tech exhibition.
Announced via its Twitter account, Nokia confirmed that
its President and CEO Rajeev Suri will be delivering a keynote at
MWC 2017. While Nokia
is said to be announcing at least two new mobile devices before the
end of the year, a delay cannot be ruled out. In addition,
Nokia may take the opportunity to launch a new lineup of
smartphones at MWC 2017.
Earlier this year, Nokia
announced its plans to start making phones and tablets
again with the help of HMD Global and Foxconn. The company
also revealed that its new mobile devices will be powered by
Android.
