There’s much hype surrounding Google’s new Pixel and
Pixel XL smartphones, and it’s certainly warranted.
Packing Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 CPU along with
4GB RAM and either 32GB or 128GB internal storage, on a 5-inch
(Pixel) or 5.5-inch (Pixel XL) screen with a Quad HD resolution.
Its 12.3-megapixel camera is the best, according to DxOMark. Put
all these together and certainly the Google Pixel is one of the
best Android phones on the market.
For Singaporeans itching to change their phones,
unfortunately we aren’t in the initial batch of countries to
receive the phone. Worse still, none of the big boys like Lazada or
Courts currently stock the Google Pixel.
Not to worry, as we’ve compiled the few possible ways
you can be the first to own the powerful Google Pixel and Pixel XL
before it officially lands in Singapore.

Mobyshop
The third party
reseller located at Far East Plaza is bringing the models
in this Thursday. However, stock will be very limited with 2 to 3
units of each configuration available. They will have both the
Quite Black and Very Silver variants of the Pixel and Pixel XL in
32GB and 128GB options.
The 32GB Pixel will cost S$1180 while the 128GB will
cost you S$1340. For the larger Pixel XL, the 32GB will run at
S$1360 while the 128GB will cost S$1530. Warranty will not be
covered so buy at your own risk.
Otherwise, you can register
your interest on Lazada and hope they do bring it in. Or
look out for random sellers on
Carousell (128GB Pixel for S$1480) or Qoo10 (32GB
Pixel for S$1250 and 128GB Pixel for S$1430)

Get a forwarder to ship from
US
The biggest problem with getting anything shipped from
the US is rarely any vendor will do so. Your best chance is using a
forwarder service to ship the Google Pixel to a US address, who
will then forward it over to you (for a fee). Websites
like Big Apple
Buddy, Borderlinx or EZIPoz are some of your best
bets.
