nightzip SG Always LCD, plasma is too expensive and once the pixels are spoilt, its done for. Further, plasma also emits more radiation. LCD resolution quality is getting better day by day.

nOrmalbOi SG ppl asking TV.. say 29" liao.. oh well nvm.. LCD TVs the Sony Bravia range not bad... Plasmas I would go for Pioneer or Panasonic... One thing to note tho.. The bigger brands normally make their LCD/Plasma TCs in wide screen format.. so there isnt really a 29" In my limited knowledge... theres.. 17" 20" 28" 32" 37" 42" 43" 50".... with the bigger sizes being in the majority...
FireIce SG oh yah...it's the bra range.. now i rbered.... jus saw at courts....... sibeh sui price lagi sui..
nOrmalbOi SG Must find the one with the correct resolution... or look for recordings in wide format lor... and wanna make u look fat.. kinda hard leh..
bksianzz SG no it wunt look fat.. starting will not beused to it... but after a week used to it le dont buy LCD that is not HD-ready or HDTV , coz its not gonna support future technology.. u just waste money
bksianzz SG actually the 2k can use to buy fairly good 26" i dont see any 29" though size also depend on the viewing distance.. if put in room 26" just nice... if in living room.... buy 32" ba but LCD 32" and above price get increasingly high
nOrmalbOi SG To me at least.... by the time mediacork pushes out HD telecasts... ur current tv oso can change liao.. and as far as i noe.. sg dun have a lot of true HD models.. oni HD ready... to watch HD telecasts u would need another convertor/upscaler of some sort
