[email protected] SG ok. so whats european metal then? and are we being tight about definations here or loose? Does Brit-indie rock count?
technoboy SG Iron maiden, Dimmu Boigir, Metallica, Iced Earth, Nightwish, Atreyu, Arch Enemy. These are my favourites!
Allen.Iverson SG wtf. thats sad. does anyone hear know what power metal is??? dimmu borgir is NOT power metal rammstein is NOT power metal slipknot is DEFINATELY NOT power metal!!! power metal is mostly positive lyrics and clean vocals with lyrics based on science fiction or fantasy themes. they also make wide use of keyboards and fast dual guitars i like dragonforce the most...stratovarius, sonata arctica and iron maiden.
digicharat SG why are you so insistent about which genre they belong to? they are all music in the end right? not like you gain something when you listen to which genre of music. i believe most people just listen to whatever appeal to their ears. rather than narrowing themselve to a certain genre of music.
Allen.Iverson SG erm dude. the title asks POWER METAL. wtf u talking about being so insistent about which genre they belong to? u know what u talking about??? if someones's thread goes ANYONE LISTEN TO POP BALLADS HERE? and i go YEAH I LOVE LIMP BIZKIT AND SLIPKNOT! how will the threadstarter feel? idiot -.-
Allen.Iverson SG dream theatre aint power metal too but i like them alot. their music damn complex but nice. i love the glass prison.
