actually it has always been the case since humans came about,
even though nowadays the emphasis have changed, but it's probably
due to ppl being more affluent and able to generate more income
than before (though it comes at the risk of social ills which we
dun discuss here)....
it's human nature... i can see more and more ppl putting off
marriages and not marrying cos they fear they dun have money to
raise a family...
