Prado & Pajero are considered 4x4.
SUVs are cars liked CRV, RAV4, X-trail, Airtrek, etc.
Anyway, among the four SUVs mentioned above, I liked the CRV most! Simply spacious.... Very Happy

To me, generally a car is an SUV if the platform is raised so that it can or (looks like it can Mr. Green ) go offroad - a sporty activity so an SUV - Sport Utility Vehicle.

A MPV is one that multi purpose in nature, like having a big boot, extra rows of seat...

Citing examples for same manufacturer,
Mitsubishi Grandis, Colt, Colt Plus can be considered MPV - difference being the size while Mitsubishi Airtrek Turbo, Outlander are considered SUV

Just my opinions

Best SUV:
Offroad Capabilities: Hummer H1/H2, Land Rovers
Performance: Cayanne Turbo, ATR,
Versatility: XC90 (and looks too)
Low Price: Tucson, Vitara, Sportage
Value-for money: CR-V, RX300

Well, i think the most value for money SUV available currently has got to be the Toyota Harrier 2.4... its like 110+k now? And that's for such a big car with not-bad branding..

Although lookswise, it's gotta go to either the Porsche Cayenne or the XC90, the Harrier/RX300 is much too common liao... Cool

Guys, you all forgot about the VW Touareg. It kick the Cayenne's ass anytime in terms of interior quality and built.
I would highly rec the VW Touareg to anyone. XC90, not even close to it.

Yes, in fact the Toureg uses a detuned version of the Cayenne's engine.

Eh..guys....i seriously hope you guys can get your facts right. The Touareg is based on the Cayenne??? Hahaha....
Please go check out the info properly before commenting. The Cayenne is in fact a Touareg in disguise. The basic Cayenne model, the V6, is virtually a VW engine, with only changes to the intake manifold and exhaust system.

Guys, traditionally, the first few generations of Porsche were all fitted with VW engines. Not the other way around.

VW King, I think you are right, but sadly the fact is that porsche is perceived to be much more superior than VW in sg in any aspect..
