Newdriver SG tat's why i said put hazard lights, pple will get frighten and stay far far away fm u liao! no need to be so 'kwa chang' lah. see the car got 'p' plate, pple oredi scared like shit liao. 45-degree tilt is still the best. tis morning tried parking again and tis time one shot went into the slot but of cos with a little bit of help fm fren sitting beside me.
wbucket SG Usually I on my hazard light, keep to 1 side close to the lot I am aiming for. Wait for car behind to overtake/clear, then continue to do the 45degree thing. Unless you plan to go head first, better to let the traffic clear.
johncooper SG One simple advise .... Picture your car from the outside by using your wing mirrors and use your rearview mirror when you are almost all the way in the lot ...
Bloop... SG May sound like a joke, but I'm serious. Play with a toy cars. Put two cars side by side with just enough space for a 3rd one to squeeze between... then practice with that... once you can visualize it... easier in your own car. Of course don't make your toy car do pivot turns on the spot. Try to make it's turning radius as realistic as you can.
Altis84 SG i disagree.... if u are gonna go and find some where with valet parking... must well go and find urself a chaffeur... whats the point of learning to drive den... when u want to escape parking... parking isnt that difficult.
