U might want to check out the local Yahoo auctions for a start. Can try to go China Square Central on Sunday mornings to check out the flea market there. U will meet lots of G1 TF collectors down there.

As for shops, u can drop by Falcon's Hangar or Toysnation at Far East Plaza. Cool

rathcycle SG

Those stuffs are costly isnt it ?

wonder kids nowaday know what the heck is transformers

Gordonator SG

ya i'm a big toy collector too, big fan of transformers.

unopened G1 transformers can go up to hundreds of dollars. for starters u can go to sg yahoo auctions. lots of selection there. or china square central every sunday for the toy flea market.

i also recommend the japanese takara binaltech diecast transformers modelled after real cars. many are familiar character from the cartoon in the 80s.

U can try www.transformers.com.sg

They are not updating the website anymore but the email still works

U can get re-issues of tf characters from them

Gordonator SG

hear that takara is coming out with new stocks of Masterpiece MP-1 Optimus Prime Convoy in june. probably cheaper. is that true?

sand king SG

thanks people, but where is the cheapest i can find?
which shops sells G1 transformers??

thanks

Gordonator SG

cheapest? unopened G1s can go for $200 - $500.

those 2nd hands opened, played before types maybe up to $100+ depending on quality. don't think many shops in sg sells G1s. yahoo auction is the best place.

sand king SG

oh i see. so many versions, making me confused lol, the last one i watched is beast wars. i havent seen the jap ones. oh, where can i find the new ones, the ones that transform into cars, i like to WRX and Optimus prime one lol (how much dose it cost?)

dose the jap versions cost more or the eng version cost more?

sorry if i asked to many question, i dont want to get riped lol

Gordonator SG

i assume u are talking about the takara binaltech right?

japanese one will defiantely be more expensive. but the quality is better.

what is your budget? how much are u willing to spend on the toys?

Glen999 SG

sigapore has no such shops if you are "real" collectors.
you have to go to ebay, travelling around the countries..

btw, toy collector is not cheap. for example, one 1st generation transformer can be more than SGD1000. ...

sand king SG

yup binaltech.

i dont have a budget yet, just want to scout 1st, ask questions and find out more. then during the june hoils i go work get cash and dont care the price, will buy my fave char lol.

oh yeh some one was selling a lazer beak right?

haha now got eMarketing, why need to go around the world?? lol
