because of my s$900 progress package, i'll up my budget to S$40+- for 1 white, slim-fit shirt. where else got sell? i don't care about the sale anymore if there's no white colors........those G2000 stores(anywhere) got sell slim-fit whites anot? (Nikar)

Yah...even if there is no sale, G2000 will always sell plain white slim fit (together with regular) shirts at prices ranging from $29 to $79.

if u look at the shirts category in the site above, none of the shirts featured seems to be a slim-fit one.
maybe will try bishan G2000 tomorrow; if their sale section don't have, then maybe i try their normal range.
they got sell plain slim-fits at S$29 one meh? i thought the cheapest ones are at least S$49.90/S$59 and above.

No lah....G2000 is a Hong Kong-based low-end fashion franchise that managed to expand in Singapore. Their stuff are standardized from templates and cannot be compared with the mid-range shops like Zara/Topman or the higher end ones like those u find in Paragon.

Caserini and Domanchi are located at 2nd floor of Centrepoint shopping Centre.

Domanchi shirts, size 1 and 2 can be rather tight fitting. Price range fr $49 onwards. Their fitting range is by number 1-4, rather than by roman numerals like S-XL or neck measurements like 14.5 - 17.

Caserini shirts are mainly European imports. Prices of 2 for $69 are reasonable, but u won't be able to find a slim fit shirt there cos they are mainly US/Euro-sizes.

so, that's the g2000 story! i keep thinking g2000 very branded one, cos' i remember i saw 1 white shirt-sleeve shirt there(or was it black pants, can't remember) that cost S$59.90....

will probably give Junc-8 a miss and visit other g2000 stores instead.
say, what's the biggest g2000 outlet in SG that sell the widest range of slim-fit whites at small sizes?
the jurong point outlet a bit small leh; the g2000 website doesn't list the locations here either.

G2000 always start off with high prices like $59.90 at the beginning of a new season. But when they near the end of the season, they will always slash prices by up to 30% - 70%.

But even though they are low end I do feel that their cutting and standardised designs are rather functionable and wearable.

I don't think there is actually a "biggest G2000" outlet cos most of their shops are quite similar in sizes. But if u want a good range can try going to the one at Wisma Atria (Orchard)...I think they have 2 outlets there! One is on the 2nd floor (after u come out of Orchard MRT, take the nearest escalator up to level 2...shares the same floor as Project Blood Bro Shop). The other one is a few steps away from Zara (near to Timberland).

Dude, unfortunately for the current range, it's not yet sales season.
But I think u should be able to get a plain slim fit or contemporary fit shirt at a price below $50.

The only sale that they are holding right now is at Bishan (they are clearing last season's stock), where the striped and coloured shirts outnumber your white shirts.

personally, i believe that it is better to invest in a good shirt than to buy cheap ones. the cutting and material is very important.

So many misconceptions in this thread, let me address some.

Firstly Massimo Dutti is not some Prata shop, it's under the same group as Zara. First branch open in March at Liat I think.

Secondly, who says Zara is better than G2000? Zara stuff were only okay to begin with and is now going downhill. Dutti is a bit better but also so-so nia. G2000 even though Hong Kong brand but got some pretty good stuff.

Thirdly Nikar, my suggestion for you would be Robinsons

robinson really got white slim-fit shirts meh? because there's this big store called "John Little" at the 1st storey of Jurong Point and the shirts it sells, none of them are long-sleeve slim-fits; somemore, the quality of the shirts are so thin and cheap.

i) since john little is a child company of robinsons, won't robinson sell the same poor crap?

ii) i thought robinson sells only those business suits and shirts for 30s - 40s office men. they got sell slim-fits meh? slim-fits more like trendy people.......but still am gonna try robinson anyway.

iii) robinson outlets in SG where got? jurong area got? town? chua-chu-kang area?
