I am graduating soon and juz got my license. I thinking of buying a second hand car when I got my first job.. The problem is I really a newbie at it.. Duno wat OMV, above paper value blah blah blah...

The most impt thing is I want to know how much I muz pay per mth n how long b4 i need to scrap e car.. tink i need power steering too coz i realli dun hve much energy 2 turn e steering wheel otherwise.. haha

get a about 2 yrs old honda jazz/fit … good FC and easy to drive and with a $5000 downpayment .. shall set u back about $600/= per mth .

As a general rule of thumb, set aside $1000 a month for your car... that should be enough to cover everything, including saving up for the annual tax and insurance...

FC is Fuel consumption... better car FCs are about 13-15km/litre... but for a 2nd hand car, I guess 11-12 is still fine...

With your budget, probalby have to get a 2nd-hand car.
