How to buy a second hand car?

Hi Guys,

I actually think of having 2nd hand car? However, I have a few questions needed to be clarified:

1) How can I know whether the car i bought is a good & reliable car?
2) Is there some sort of warranty after I purchase the car?
3) Where should I go to look for 2nd hand car?
4) how do I know what is the right price?

You need to bring along a mechanic to check for any abnormalities

2) Is there some sort of warranty after I purchase the car?
Usually no, unless the car is still under waranty by the distributor

3) Where should I go to look for 2nd hand car?
Classified, sgcarmarts, second hand car dealers, etc etc

4) how do I know what is the right price?
You really need to study the market price of the model you are interested and do bargain...

want to know about the price pls always look up the newspaper n make lots phone call to find out more, no place can sure u r able to get a gd condition car after u lock on to a car always can send it to a workshop that u know. gd luck

If you intend to keep the car for 5 years or more, get the new one. Otherwise by all means, get the second-hand car. Search the forum for posts on the pro and cons of getting a second-hand car.
